The NHS spends an estimated £1.4 billion on chemotherapy each year. Even though chemotherapy can be very effective against cancer, it also has serious side-effects including fatigue, nausea, and hair loss. We aim to guide clinical pathways by analysing the single cell transcriptome of tumours so chemotherapy is only used when beneficial to the patient.
